This is hilarious! And, every incident you quote is so true in my life. BTW, my kids still have one day...tomorrow! Check with my on Wed:)

So funny and so true! Do you remember the Staples commercial a couple of years ago where the mom was pushing the shopping cart around Staples with a big grin on her face, happy daisy's floating around in the scene. Everything was in slow motion and the kids were hanging off the cart, complaining about going back to school. That commercial cracked me up. So spot on.
I'm pretty sure there are throngs of moms feeling the exact same way!
All of those sound like my house! That's why I took a summer job but that hasn't kept them from calling me!

I think my only saving grace is the pool. Now if the weather would cooperate, I'd be fine. I might just take them even if it isn't really hot!
I might only half participate in this. My daughter needs to go back. My son starts kindergarten and I'm not quite ready yet. I need the next few months to prepare for that.
