    Barney

For all you people that say you wouldn't let your kids watch this or that... yeah whatever... those comments are more annoying than the actual show. Tivo is my BFF! I mean seriously its 4:10am and my, before the crack of dawn, Lil' Tafari is up and ready to play.  So I put Barney on for him and I logged on to surf the web because I am an addict to keep from falling back to sleep. Anyways.. there is this Christmas episode... the Gift of the Dinos (Season 11 Episode 19). There is this little girl name Melanie in it and she starts writing her Xmas letter. In the middle of writing she notices one of the other kids are having problems writing their "Santa Letter".  So she stops to help them. She disregards her own letter and helps the other kids... well when she goes back to her own letter the kids go outside to play. They see the Mailman. Now mind you its the LAST day to send your letter to Santa.  These little ungrateful brats all mail their letter, while poor little Melanie is inside working on hers! So they all wave bye to the mailman and after he's gone one little boy yells "Melanie didn't mail her letter"! What the heck! Or as Stephanie Tanner says "How Rude!".  I mean really... they forgot Melanie?? Oh well Barney "knows Santa" and took her to the workshop to deliver her letter in person! How bout that for the last laugh!!

Okay I should go back to bed, and bring Barneys #1 fan with me! I've gotta be a bit sleep deprived to blog about Barney! Goodnight All!!!

    Unbearable Holidays

Ah to be in grade school again! I miss those holidays! Presents Everywhere and no care in the world.... getting older is over-rated! I wish I were in Kampala. These are the times that I crave my family so bad its Unbearable. With 10 brothers and sisters, Jajja (Grandma), and Mummy back home there is a hole in my soul. I wish I could be with them. Presents stopped replacing home long ago. It's really hard now that my lil sis is back home. She came here for school and decided to take a semester off to go home. If I could wish on a star.... I wish I was far.... I wish I were in Kampala!

In reply to my SSB Family: Survivor Rocks!!!

DonnaP.... Jaison does look good cleaned up, gotta disagree with you Aggie... on your comment he looked good even dirty…. His beard was nasty it looked like the hair down there.. way too nappy! Yeah I agree I thought the C word Shambo was using was a four letter word, and I think she was saying that on National TV in a way that the viewers would know WTF she was talkin about...lol! I was really pissed off at Eriks closing remarks. I think it should just be questions, but he made statements to sway the Jury, and that wasn’t cool! Oh did y’all see Nat tonight, poor baby was past skinny, and her hair even had bald patches from lack of nutrition. I like Nat too and glad that if Russell couldn’t get it she did. But Russell really deserved it. I’m glad Nat mentioned the rat thing because they were all acting like she was a little weak coattail rider and she was kickin’ azz in her own way. LMAO at the Sock in the fire, Russell is a piece of work! Aggie.... I thought Russell’s wife was really pretty, you didn’t think so? Allstars: BBBlogger.... Russell is going to be a Villan on All Stars… woo hoo its in February so we don’t have to wait very long… and Parvati and Russell on the same Team… now that’s good TV!!! I think Russell should have took Shambo and Jaison he would’ve kicked ass tonight. SSB fam....If there will be any shoving of Ted you can shove him here.. besides the Laura thing (who actually did look pretty on the finale) we have pretty much the same views! Nat looks better without makeup. Oh and Kelly…. Everytime I start to like her she friggin opens her mouth… STFU your endearing when you don’t speak! Tendr...... I do believe when Russell said he wanted his daughters to marry someone like Brett because he didn’t say it to Brett he said it to Mick and Nat, so therefore gaining nothing by saying it. I think the voting off Brett was the only time he did struggle morally with a Vote, but in the end Russell knew Brett would have the whole Jury, even Shambo. However, I did like Jaison’s comment about Russell and Office People, it made a lot of sense, but it is a game and that just how he chose to play, if you wanna talk sensitive the whole jury was butthurt, bitter, and babies about everything, so if Erik and TGO wanna shed a tear who cares… Tendr I agree with Ted, I like your profile pic too… very cute. Cynthia… I won’t shoot you I agree with your Russell statements. OMG they said the other Russell is going to be on Heroes… BARF… that dude is so annoying, his voice sounds like a whiny teenage girl… NOOOOOOOOOOO please NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

    Low-Income izms

I have talked to a lot of families whom are having problems getting services. I feel that can be changed. You are your child's advocate. Don't give up! This is definitely a case where No means Yes! It's all about research and bonding with other families on the spectrum. My son is in dire need of a dentist. I met a family who gave me a great referral. Of course Medi-cal (my areas low income insurance) doesn't cover it. I made the appointment anyways. I intend to pay the 95 dollar consultation fee then plead my case. If they don't waiver and I still can't afford it I am making copies of all the charges and writing Medi-cal and asking for help with a fee-waiver for special needs. If that doesn't work I will go to my City and then State. If need be, I will get help from a legal advocate for special needs. I will not stop until my son is taken care of, and neither should you! One person may not be able to change the world, but one person can give a child the right to a healthy life! Remember there is no shame in being low-income, there is shame that in a Country as rich as the United States that they allow low income families to suffer! Hold your head up high and let it be known.......I am low income and my child deserves the best products and services available!! Also a little trick I use.... I don't name drop but I definitely "Service Drop".... whenever I feel a "NO" coming on I tend to start my sentences off with... well the Autism Advocate I spoke too......

    Today I am Unwritten

    Unwritten by Natasha Bedngfield......

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
Im just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
    Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you can not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
    Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
    Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
    The rest is still unwritten

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes,
but I can't live that way

Staring at the blank page before you
    Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you can not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
    Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
    Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
But the rest is still unwritten

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
    Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
    The rest is still unwritten

    Two-Timing Tiger

Tiger Woods wife was a rider with that golf club! I have to say i had a good laugh. But, if the role was reversed and a dude came after a female with a golf club and she crashed her car trying to get away... the police would have done a full investigation and he'd be locked up on Domestic Abuse charges! I'd be pissed if I was a man at this double standard. But since I am a woman I will snicker silently.
