My Blog is about many things, adult adoptee, autism, family, laughter, and love, feel free to follow me on my journey, and look through my archives. It takes more than one subject to define me or my family. We are a mixture of a bit of everything!
There is just something about seeing a child sign that give me goosebumps. Probably because sign language is my life's vocation, I take great pride in how quickly my daughter has picked up the use of the language and seemlessly merged it with her vocalization.
The Terror is such a doll...I just want to squeeze and hug and plant a million kisses :O)
Teaching my daughter to sign when she was very young and a non-talker was such a lifeline. If I had a child today, I would definitely teach them to sign - special needs or not.

Beautiful! My niece learned how to sign, she's 2. Not talking yet, but signs up a storm! I find it incredible that these little ones can sign so well!
