    Skinny Jeans Time!

I've gained a lot of weight over the years. Four kids later is not a pretty sight. Lets start back at the beginning. I was not a Fat Child. At one point in my life I could actually do the Splits!!!

When I got older I began some Modeling Jobs. I was no Tyra or Kimora but I was making some money!

    \
    I had my Daughter...
(my hair fell out during that pregnancy so i cut it all off and channeled my inner Grace Jones)

So after I let someone Else "Pull up to the Bumper Baby"....

I had my Son Chandler (now 18)

The weight started packing on when he was about 5, then I got pregnant with Islaam...
and thats when the weight really started to stick.

By the time I had Tafari, my weight has felt like its just a part of me.

So now I sit here 100 lbs. overweight. I know it doesn't look that way from my pics. Well one reason is I'm tall and the second is my pics are always cropped waist up. Also I've got that African/European Cheek & Jawbone structure that saves me!!!

I am tired of accepting my weight. It scares me that it isn't an issue anymore. So now I'm making an issue and joining the Girls for Skinny Jeans!!!!

But before I did that you know I had to stop at my favorite Mexican Spot... CHRONIC TACO's... and let the boys know I won't be around anymore (like they care, or will notice but in my head we are all really good friends), and oh yeah can I get a Carnitas Burrito with everything on it extra Guacamole to go?

My diet starts tomorrow.... For Realsies this time!! Seriously! Track my progress. And curse me out weekly if I need it... CyberSlap me if I don't lose it.... Help I need Back up!!!

I just started on my weight loss journey too. I also have 100 lbs plus pounds to lose. I could say its from having 6 kids but mostly its from the love of eating and the hating of exercise! Good luck to you will be checking in to see how you do.

Good luck! I started watching what I eat in December, and really focused after New Year's. But I've lost track recently. Now Monday, I'm getting back on track! I have to! Good luck to you! Good luck with the skinny jeans!

I started my "new lifestyle" journey in December of last year and I'm slowly but surely learning how to eat better, exercise and change my outlook. The pounds are slow to come off but I figure I'm in this for the rest of my life.

    Let's kick each other on!

Good luck to you. I'm at my highest (non pregnant weight) right now. It's the same as it was right before I lost 15 lbs and THEN got pregnant with Buster. Grr. I just have the hardest time with my weight.

Good for you, I wish you success.
I have about 60 pounds to get off my body. How do we allow ourselves to get this way. I was a size 0 in High School. I may not join the Skinny Jeans club but I am going to try to diet. Your my inspiration.

I still had 10lbs of baby weight to get rid of when I got pregnant with this one (and I generally pack on a good 40lbs when I'm pregnant), so I will surely have some work ahead of me at the end of the summer.

You aren't kidding... your cheek bones are to die for! Gorgeous, you are!

You can do it! GOOD LUCK!

You are friggin' gorgeous! Always have been. I applaud you for doing something about your weight, not because I think you aren't gorgeous now, but because there are health issues involved with being overweight. I have my own weight struggle to deal with.

I started off this pregnancy over-weight so I really need to be careful not to gain too much because I don't want to get gestational diabetes. I just bought myself a stationary bike and I'm stoked. It easy to just hop on and off throughout the day if I can't get a full work-out in all at once.
