This weeks Questions:

Are there Holiday Events geared
towards Special Needs Persons?
How does a Sensory Sensitive Adult or Child
spend 4th of July?
spend 4th of July?
My Post
(I chose to answer the Question)
I wear him out so that he's passed out sleeping by the time the loud events begin. I stay home with him and the older children spend the holiday with friends and family.
I haven't found events geared to my Special Needs child. I have a Sensory Sensitive Child and I do daytime activities. He likes the hustle and bustle of outside but the dark, flashing, and loud bangs are overwhelming.
So, I find a kids activity in my neighborhood,
and make it a Special Needs event.
My Neighborhood Event:
How I've turned it into our Event:

We don't celebrate the 4th of July in the UK, but as a family we do, as it's the day that our older daughter arrived in our home. It's not the legal adoption day, but the day she arrived as a 10 month old baby to live with us.
Now that's worth celebrating right? She's now a beautiful 15 year old. :)
Thanks so much for linking me...with Jenn's picture! LMAO! I laughed so hard when I saw that, but no big deal. Hahaha. I know you're busy.
That was actually my issue too. I had to work yesterday, so I was all over the place. I was so concerned with getting it written, that I COMPLETELY forgot to link!
Thanks again!
