The second issue is apparently at 6:54 pm some stupid IPAD application sent this out claiming it was from me!!!! Look my email is the sender!!! What the heck??? I was napping at the time. I would never send this crap to my friends. I wouldn't wish Spam on someone I disliked!!

I NEVER SENT THAT!!! How embarrassing for people to receive some crap like that with my name on it. This should be illegal. I've seen this happen on FACEBOOK too. Where it says "hey check out this video", win an IPAD, etc.
I am beyond pissed off! And if anyone received this.. my apologies! I am just so sick of spam, and they've taken it to a whole new level using my name in it! I will not let this slide!

Ihave had several people send me stuff like that and I go umm NOT lol. I am telling ya they are slicker then snot now a days with that crap. One click on the wrong thing and poof they got ya.
This is what I sent to the company:

My suggestion you send another email to everyone you spammed on my contact list with an apology and inform them I had nothing to do with this matter.

I got that e-mail, but it went directly to my spam mail account, and not my inbox.

A woman in my town had her email hacked and someone under her name sent out requests for money. There are apps that allow companies and nefarious individuals to access your private information as well. Please make sure that when you use your ipad and computer it is always on a secure network. Have passwords on everything, including your phone.
I got it too...I'm kicking myself because I assumed it was legit!
I didn't receive it, but I've had other people's email send me stuff like that.
I think many people recognize it for what it is, SPAM, and just ignore it...but I agree, it can be embarrassing.
I've received similar emails from people. I know it's SPAM and trash it and I hope others realize that as well.
My email sent out links to people a few months ago. What my techie husband said was that someone hacked into my email and I should change my password. That's equally annoying!
Yikes! That would tick me off big time. Once during college, someone hacked into my e-mail and sent out a very, um, vulgar nude picture to everyone in my address book. Including my pastor, future in-laws, and grandparents. They were nice enough to pretend to be me complaining about my then-fiancee's, um, shortcomings. I. Was. Mortified. None of it was real. To this day, I have no idea how that happened. So infuriating!
I would hate that too. The other day someone got into someone I knows facebook. So she had to delete it!

I hate it too. Someone got into my gmail about six months ago sending out emails and then they turned my account off. I can't blog without it. It took some time and I had to get a new password. What is the point. I know that I don't open anything the looks suspicious. So sorry this happened to you.
Jane you have every reason to be mad. Hopefully everyone knows you would never send something like that.
